The first time I see the instructor use and teach about the IWB, I was so excited because for me it is very interesting and interactive tool. It just looks like as usual white board that we always use, but the best part of this tool are it have a lot of interactive items or toolkit and can be touch by our fingertip. Just like the iPad or iPhone that have been the current youth craze. It is quite difficult and it made me stress when I use this IWB for the first time. It is not as easy as I thought. To use this IWB, we need to install SMART notebook software to our laptop. The instructor had shown to us the uses of this IWB. After we install the software, we had been given a time to explore about the IWB and thanks to the Allah because we manage to use it and it is not really difficult actually. For me, it is a very good tool to attract student’s attention during the teaching and learning process. The students can do a lot of activities that provide by this tool which can provide them a better understanding about any topic. The teacher can use this IWB as one of the alternative way to make the teaching and learning process more interesting. Unfortunately, only a few schools have this IWB because it is not affordable for our country to provide to all schools in Malaysia. I am just one of the lucky people that have opportunity to learn and explore this sophisticated gadget and I hope that other students also should have this opportunity.
